# Venues

Because Backyard Wrestling can only get so popular.

Venues play a vital role in [Territory](/wrestling-organization-online/wrestling-organization-online/woo-territories.md) wrestling as they determine the number of people who can attend the wrestling [Shows](/wrestling-organization-online/wrestling-organization-online/gameplay/shows.md), which in turn affects the earnings for the land owner and player. [Wrestling Organization Online (WOO)](https://woogame.online/) is introducing a new concept of NFT [Cities](/wrestling-organization-online/wrestling-organization-online/woo-territories/cities.md), where players will be able to build Venues on their land. These Venues will come in different sizes and capacities, from small Halls to large Titanic Stadiums.

To build a Venue, players will need to use the [$WOO](https://beeswap.dcity.io/tokens/WOO) token. Upgrades to the Venue, buildings, and [City](/wrestling-organization-online/wrestling-organization-online/woo-territories/cities.md) will also require the use of [$WOO](https://beeswap.dcity.io/tokens/WOO). Each [City](/wrestling-organization-online/wrestling-organization-online/woo-territories/cities.md) will start **WITHOUT A VENUE**! Venues can only be built once certain building requirements are met. [Shows](/wrestling-organization-online/wrestling-organization-online/gameplay/shows.md) can still be ran without Venues or buildings, but backyard wrestling can only become so popular.
