"Say 'uncle'!"

Submission Moves attempt a Submission after the Move connects and Damage / Resistance is accounted for. This Submission attempt will have between a 1% - 99% chance of success, depending on the opponent's current Health. On a successful Submission, the Match is won! Where a Submission differs from a Pinning Combination is upon a failure. On a failure, the opponent is held down and must attempt to break out of the Submission on their turn. If the opponent breaks out of the Submission, they may attack as normal. If the opponent fails to break out of the Submission, they lose a turn and must attempt to break out again on the next round.

Breakouts work as follows:

• If the opponent has 0 Health, the chance of breaking out of a Submission is 1%.

• If the opponent has 1 Health, the chance of breaking out of a Submission is 25%.

• If the opponent has 2 Health, the chance of breaking out of a Submission is 50%.

• If the opponent has 3 or more Health, the chance of breaking out of a Submission is 75%.
